Johnson, Gerald L. (Jerry) , Age 66, Chisago City, MN. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 30, 2009 after a courageous battle against cancer.
Born in 1943 in Amery, Wisconsin to Clifford and Beatrice Johnson and later married on September 1, 1962 to high school sweetheart Suzanne Hampton of St. Louis Park, MN. Survived by Suzanne (wife), David & Kesorn Johnson (son & daughter-in-law, Universal City, TX) and Scott and Brendan Johnson (son & grandson, Chisago City, MN), Mary Ann & Bob Olander (sister and brother-in-law), Angela & Sean Merrell (niece & husband), Anna Mae Knapp (aunt) and numerous cousins. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
A lover of antiques and country living, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, classic automobiles, riding his Harley and many other outdoor and family activities.
As a pipe fitter he was a member of Pipe Fitters Local Union #539 for many years before retiring in 1998.
