Michele was born December 25, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN to Sollie and Sharron Brown.
She enjoyed dog showing, dog breeding, dog handling, quilting, embroidering, gardening, making soap, and true crime novels and tv shows.
Michele worked as a social worker and as a radio announcer.
Michele was preceded in death by her husband, James Flesland; parents, Sollie and Sharron Brown; son, Scott Flesland; brother, Richard Brown; and her special pets, Hilary, Gabby, and Sadie.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Walkoviak; sons, Ronald (William Erbes) Flesland of Colfax, ND and Kristoffer (Dawn) Flesland of International Falls; step-daughters, Dawn Clark of International Falls and Stacey Forsythe of Minneapolis; daughter-in-law, Jodi Flesland of Minneapolis; sister, Alyce (Gary) Dudovitz of Minneapolis; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00AM at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls, MN.
