It is so unbelievable to think that 50 (count 'em).....yes 50 years have passed since our high school graduation!!! Connecting with old friends has brought back a flood of memories. I am so looking forward to celebrating this "great" event with you all. After highschool I attended Mankato State University where I met my husband, Tom, who is from White Bear Lake. We were married in May of 1966 at St. George's Church in StLP. I received a BA in studio art & worked in advertising until starting a family. Our son Andrew is 40 & daughter Sara is 37. Andrew & his wife Melanie have presented us with our precious granddaughters Andi 12 & Peyton 6. We have lived in the St. Paul area since being married. We are very happy to spend some of the winter months at our place in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Life has been good!!! |

We are happily retired in Florida where we get to swim, golf, bike, and visit the ocean whenever we want to.. .62 Minnesota winters were enough! We both agree that retirement is the best job we've ever had. We now have the gift of time to spend with our kids, four wonderful grandchildren, great new friends and great old friends from "up north" who come to visit most of the winter. Enjoy the reunion..sorry I can"t be there with you, but Hello to you all. |

Most of the things I though were really hard at the time and wished were different have turned out to put me in a better place. I do wish my first wife had not suffered as she did.

I often wonder about my good fortune. Sure I have had some real bumps along the way but I am in a really good place. I am living where I want and have people around who love me and I love them. I have a full life doing good stuff. I am happy while still trying to figure out what retirement is and what is next.I have three children. One in Maryland, one in Richfield, and one in Hamburg, Germany. Amoung them I have seven grand chhildren. I worked a number of different jobs over the years. Most of my working life was in sales. The last twenty years as a sales manager for a manufacture of industrial equipment covering 15 states. When I got downsized, fired, I began a home repair business (handyman) That was one of the best things that ever happened to me. They should have given me that opportunity earlier. Since the death of my first wife, we almost made it to our 40th anniversary, I have married a wonderful woman. She has a son who is now my fourth (adult) child. We moved to the country in the shadow of the Shenandoah mountains and the skyline drive. I drive to DC to work two days a week but I will stop doign that some day, I think. The drive is really not fun. I really like what I do and have worked for some really wonderful people. I have led a number of mission trips in the us and am getting ready for the next one at our new church home. Off to AL to repair homes in a very poor area dammaged by tornados. |
