Truly one of the nicest guys I have known.  We really got to know each other when we were at the U.  Many nights with our wives we stayed up into the early hours of the morning at the Hayes’ apartment playing bridge.  The game Yogi taught me to play. Later I was fortunate enough to be with Yogi in the waiting room when his first daughter was born.  We were together when we saw the child for the first time. We went out to Mtka fishing the day before my wedding.  Yogi was a groomsman. Later, we visited the Hayes in Brainerd and my son was fortunate to have fished with Yogi.  An experience my son will always treasure.    Yogi was a fine example of honesty and integrity.  I am proud to have had him as a friend.
