Not only was Doug my brother, but my best friend and confidant. We were "tag a longs" often doing the same thing and shared many of the same friends.  Doug's passing left a tremendous void in my life...I often think of my brother and what a wonderful blessing it was to share my life with you.

Doug, You checked out way to soon.  We used to have so much fun living together in the old house at Dinkytown as students at U of M.  You were always so enthusiastic about everything.  I am sure that helped you tremendously in achieving all you did at Mid-America and as an Army officer.  I believe you were the most decorated soldier from Minnesota to serve in Vietnam.  It was always a blast hanging around with you.  I wish you were here now so that we could be fishing buddies.  It was great being your friend.
