Terry Epcar, who had owned the Israel Connection store in Phoenix for 25 years with his wife, Geri, died April 25 at a Phoenix hospital after an illness, according to family friend Cookie Shifris. He was 61
The Epcars closed the longtime Phoenix store in December because they were planning to move it to the East Valley and were looking for a location. Their Jewish Quarter of Scottsdale store is still operating.
