My Dad died this past 2/3/12 at the VA in MPLS. He had been in there since 12/27/11.  Originally diagnosed with MDS, he was given 2-6 months. He actually passed at 5:12p from Septic Shock. I had to unplug him, those were his wishes. When I made the decision to honor his wish, he passed within a minute. So right then, I knew I made the right decision.

June 03, 2012 Letting Go...The angels gathered near your bed,so very close to youFor they knew all of the things that you were going through,I thought about so many things,I tightly held your hand,Oh, how I wished that you were strongand healthy once again; But your eyes were looking homewardto a place beyond the sky, where God will hold you always,it was time to say goodbye;I struggled with my selfish thoughtsfor I wanted you to staySo we could walk and talk again, like we did the other day;But God still knows what's bestAnd I knew God loved you soSo I gave you life's greatest gift; The gift of letting you go.Love and miss you Dad... ~Shaune Krempel
