Bruce Bitzer, age 75 of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018, at St. Gertrude's Health Care Center in Shakopee.Bruce was born on June, 1, 1943, in Warroad Village, Roseau County, MN, the son of Alfred "Bud" and Stella (Halvorson) Bitzer.He was employed as a carpenter, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and sports (especially hockey).

Bruce is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Brian Bitzer, Wendy Heinen, Vicki (Mike) Rademacher, Kristi Heinen, and Sean Heinen; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte and Colleen; brothers, Hal, Keith and Lee; life long friend and brother-in-law, Wayne Young; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Stella; siblings, Sharon, Marsha and Rolland.

Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring in Lake of the Woods, MN.
